The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,522 from 25,040 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 21.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 555,077.
The active cases are 68,776.
Of the total, 6,494 patients are in hospitals, 567 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 970 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 463,582
· 13,484 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,657,271
· 107 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 22,719
Of the daily cases, 85.60% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 93.46% had not been vaccinated.
There were 714 new hospitalisations, of which 86.83% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
