The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,826 from 30,772 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 23.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 564,719.
The active cases are 75,532.
Of the total, 6,685 patients are in hospitals, 595 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,180 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 466,212
· 24,042 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,709,549
· 136 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 22,975
Of the daily cases, 87.34% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 92.65% had not been vaccinated.
There were 768 new hospitalisations, of which 86.98% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
