The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,957 from 22,264 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 20.
Daily percentage of positive tests is at 22.26%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 550,555.
The active cases are 65,331.
Of the total, 6,377 patients are in hospitals, 558 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,743 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 462,612
· 9,097 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,628,498
· 124 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 22,612
Of the daily cases, 84.91% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 95.16% had not been vaccinated.
There were 895 new hospitalisations, of which 89.61% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
