Fifty seven new cases of coronavirus were confirmed for the past 24 hours in Bulgaria, since 08:00 yesterday, thus bringing the total to 1689, the national task force said on May 5.
The new cases in Sofia are 6; 21 in Vidin; 11 in Yambol; 7 in Pleven; 4 in Haskovo; 2 in Blagoevgrad; 2 in Montana; 1 in Veliko Turnovo; 1 in Gabrovo; 1 in Kyustnedil and 1 in Sliven.
The medical staff infected with the virus is now 182 people.
Two people with the virus were identified at Sofia airport. They were with high temperature. 342 people have recovered, 21 of them in the past 24 hours.
316 people are in hospitals.
78 Covid-19 patients have died.
