Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 588 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 588 from 8,856 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 29.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,155,975.

The active cases are 144,889.

Of the total, 913 patients are in hospitals, 86 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 3,593 recoveries;

· 1,559 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 14 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 63.10% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 92.86% had not been vaccinated.

There were 97 new hospitalisations, of which 76.29% had not been vaccinated.
