The total confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria rose to 635. Eleven more new cases were confirmed during the day, 7 of them being in Sofia, 1 in Smolyan, 3 in VelikoTurnovo, the national task force said in a daily update on April 10.
231 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have been admiited for treatment in hospitals, 145 of them are in hospitals in Sofia.
The cases in the districts affected by the coronavirus across the country are as follows: Blagoevgrad – 18; Bourgas – 25; Varna - 24; Veliko Turnovo – 8; Vidin – 2; Vratsa – 2; Gabrovo – 2; Dobrich – 12; Kardzhali – 10; Kyustendil – 12; Lovech – 2; Montana – 18; Pazardzhik – 13; Pernik – 8; Pleven – 9; Plovdiv – 33; Rousse - 5; Silistra - 2; Sliven – 11; Smolyan – 17; Sofia - 377; Stara Zagora – 15; Haskovo – 6; Shumen – 4.
A total of 25 COVID-19 patients have died. A 44 year old woman who tested positive for the virus died today in Sliven. She had underlying health conditions including kidney failure, high blood pressure and anemia. The patient was on haemodialysis for 9 years.
The Ministry of Health has expressed condolences to the family and relatives.
