The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 724 from 6,559 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 28.
Test positivity rate is at 11%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,088,520.
The active cases are 218,694.
Of the total, 4,268 patients are in hospitals, 503 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,458 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 834,344
· 554 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,297,604.
· 24 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 35,482.
Of the daily cases, 73.34% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 91.67% had not been vaccinated.
There were 138 new hospitalisations, of which 86.23% had not been vaccinated.
