The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 8,140 from 32,974 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 9.
The share of daily positive Covid-19 tests is at 24,6%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,011,588.
The active cases are 261,942.
Of the total, 6,274 patients are in hospitals, 625 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 7,677 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 715,602
· 7,616 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,219,156.
· 98 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 34,044.
Of the daily cases, 75.28% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 91.84% had not been vaccinated.
There were 892 new hospitalisations, of which 82.85% had not been vaccinated.
So far, 2,017,293 people have been fully vaccinated. 640,275 have been given a booster dose.
