The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 8,142 from 37,006 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 4.
The share of daily positive Covid-19 tests is 22%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 980,402.
The active cases are 257,488.
Of the total, 6,124 patients are in hospitals, 568 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 5,980 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 689,326
· 10,084 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,192,273.
· 96 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 33,588.
Of the daily cases, 75.60% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 88.54% had not been vaccinated.
There were 863 new hospitalisations, of which 85.40% had not been vaccinated.
So far, 2,006,975 people have been fully vaccinated. 625,769 have been given a booster dose.
