Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 9,152 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 9,152 from 35,040 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 3.

The share of daily positive Covid-19 tests is 26%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 972,260.

The active cases are 255,422.

Of the total, 5,917 patients are in hospitals, 565 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 4,578 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 683,346

· 8,570 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,182,208.

· 87 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 33,492.

Of the daily cases, 75.45% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 86.21% had not been vaccinated.

There were 797 new hospitalisations, of which 84.57% had not been vaccinated.

So far, 2,003,025 people have been fully vaccinated. 620,413 have been given a booster dose.
