Coronavirus in Bulgaria: Total cases is 878

The total confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria reached 865 on April 18, the national task force said during the daily briefing. There are two new cases of children, including a two months old baby from Bourgas and a 9 year old child from the village of Panicharevo, Stara Zagora distirct.

The cases in the districts affected by the coronavirus across the country are as follows: Blagoevgrad – 21; Bourgas – 32; Varna - 25; Veliko Turnovo – 10; Vidin – 19; Vratsa – 2; Gabrovo – 4; Dobrich – 13; Kardzhali – 13; Kyustendil – 21; Lovech – 2; Montana – 18; Pazardzhik – 16; Pernik – 8; Pleven – 10; Plovdiv – 37; Rousse - 7; Silistra - 2; Sliven – 19; Smolyan – 29; Sofia – 518; Stara Zagora – 32; Haskovo – 13; Shumen – 4; Yambol – 3.

The number of medical staff infected with the virus is increasing, reaching a total of 69.
