Twenty four new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, thus bringing the total to 2235, the national task force said at the daily morning briefing on May 18.
The reason for the small number is that only 362 tests were conducted on Sunday.
Fourteen of the latest cases were reported in Sofia, one is hospitalised in Pirogov. The rest are having treatment at home.
The active cases are 1513.
There are no new cases in Vidin, which means the measures have worked well.
The children diagnosed with Covid-19 are 133, which is 6% of the total cases.
The medical staff infected with the virus is 242. The new cases include a doctor from Plovdiv and a healthcare assistant from Pirogov.
The fatalities are 110, including 2 over the past 24 hours.
612 have recovered.
The European office of the WHO warns about new peaks in some European countries.
The Head of the National Centre for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases urged people to continue to observe the anti-epidemic measures.
