The total number of coronavirus cases confirmed in Bulgaria has risen to 1506 after 18 more people tested positive since this morning, an update of the national task force said on April 30.
317 Covid-19 patients are in hospitals, 40 of them are in intensive care.
The total number includes 751 men and 755 women.
As at 17.00 pm, on April 30, the cases of coronavirus in the districts across the country are as follows: Blagoevgrad – 43; Bourgas – 47; Varna - 26; Veliko Turnovo – 22; Vidin – 103; Vratsa – 7; Gabrovo – 6; Dobrich – 13; Kardzhali – 13; Kyustendil – 67; Lovech – 2; Montana – 18; Pazardzhik – 26; Pernik – 13; Pleven – 146; Plovdiv – 73; Rousse - 13; Silistra - 5; Sliven – 45; Smolyan – 34; Sofia – 713; Stara Zagora – 37; Haskovo – 17; Shumen – 4; Yambol – 13.
164 medical professionals have tested positive for the virus.
The fatalities are 66. A 73 year old man died in the hospital in Vidin today. In addition to Covid-19, he had underlying health conditions, including weakened brain vessels, chronic kidney failure and had previously had a stroke.
