Fourteen new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours from 606 PCR tests, the national task force said on May 31.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the country now stands at 2513.
The active cases are in 7 districts in Bulgaria.
The latest cases include 3 in Sofia, 4 in Sliven, 2 in Razgrad, 2 in Yambol, 1 in Blagoevgrad, 1 in Vidin and 1 in Pazardzhik.
One child, a 4 year old from Sliven, 18 was diagnosed with Covid-19 over the past 24 hours. Ten more people recovered. The total recoveries are 1074.
Two more medical staff tested positive for the virus: a doctor in Sliven and a dentist in Sofia.
One more person died: a 64 year old woman in Sliven. She also had diabetes.
Of the total, 161 people with Covid-19 are in hospitals, 17 of them are in intensive care.
May appear to be a turning point for the epidemics. There is a two-fold decrease in the number of coronavirus cases.
