The cost of renting beach umbrellas and beds in Varna, the largest city and resort on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, remain the same as last summer’s.
This year, they will cost between 2 and 20 BGN (1 and 10 euros). Beach accessories at the largest hotels near Varna will be free-of-charge and will be part of the all-inclusive package.
The lowest rental prices are at "Kabakum - North" beach near Varna, where a sunbed and an umbrella cost 2 BGN. Prices at Kabakum - Central and Rusalka beaches are 2-3 BGN higher.
This year's highest prices remain on the beach "St. St. Konstantin and Elena "- north, where the umbrella costs 20 BGN, and the bed costs 10 BGN. In the bneighbouring beach, it is offered at three times lower price. The price of the accessories at the beaches in Varna remains unchanged this year - an umbrella and a bed cost 5 BGN. Some tourists find the prices too high and prefer the free-of-charge zone.
