As a prevention against African swine fever, disinfection of incoming vehicles is already in progress at the Danube Bridge in Bulgaria’s Northern city of Ruse, at the border with Romania. According to the latest data, the number of outbreaks in neighbouring Romania is 400. All hunters in the region are trained how to act when they detect dead animals. The measures are also tightened in the large pig farms in the area.
