Heavy rain in Bulgaria’s second largest city of Plovdiv caused a series of local floodings on 10th of May. One of the most affected areas was the one near the Complex Oncology Centre, where the streets were under water.
Several traffic lights were blocked in the city, causing serious traffic disruptions. Hundreds of households were left without water because of a failure at two of the pumping stations in Plovdiv.
