EC Vice-President: Bulgaria's Accession to Euro Waiting Room is Matter of Months

"Bulgaria in the Eurozone - Questions and Answers". This is the subject of civil dialogue with the Vice-President of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis, which starts on 26^th of April at 13:30 at the Military Club in Sofia. Dombrovskis, who is a former prime minister of Latvia, is in charge of the euro and social dialogue, financial stability, financial services and the capital markets union. Before he came to Bulgaria, he gave an interview for the Bulgarian National Television.

Bulgaria's accession to the Eurozone waiting room is a matter of months, he said in the interview.

According to him, the decision on the accession will be taken by the European Central Bank and the countries that are part of the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM-2) or the so called eurozone waiting room.
