Eleven new cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria, bringing the total to 105

Eleven new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria on March 19, bringing the total to 105, the head of the task force, prof. Mutafchiyski, said at the daily 5 pm coronavurus update.

Two of the news cases are from the city of Smolyan, two are from Plovdiv, 7 are from Sofia, one of which is connected to the cases in Bansko ski resort. He came back from a holiday there 4 days ago.

The cases in Smolyan are contact persons of the man who was confirmed positive yesterday. The laboratory in Stara Zagora confirmed the cases from Plovdiv.

One of the positive results today is of a 8 year old child, whose father is infected with the virus.

A second outbreak of the disease concerning the case of the doctor from Veliko Turnovo, who was confirmed positive yesterday, has been identified at Sofiamed Hospital and patients will not be admitted until the situation is clarified, Prof. Mutafchiyski said.
