The inmate Georgi Tanchev who escaped from the prison in Bulgaria’s second largest city of Plovdiv on 11th of April was arrested on 24th of April.
He was arrested in the home of a fried in Plovdiv.
Georgi Tanchev was sentenced to one year in prison for drug distribution.
The day before the escape, he was sent to work in a dairy processing factory in Proslav district.
Tanchev told the site manager that he would go out to see his sister and never returned. Later, it turned out that the prisoner has no sister at all.
He has served many prison sentences for sale of drugs.
