Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov on 3rd of July presented to the MEPs in Strasbourg the results of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.Borissov thanked the European Parliament and all European institutions for their excellent work during the past six months and highlighted the successes of Bulgaria in the four main priorities of the country during the European Presidency.
Boyko Borissov - Prime Minister of Bulgaria: “There cannot be peace and prosperity until whole Europe is united. I think our efforts gave results. The summit in Sofia on 17th of May 2018 helped Athens and Skopje resolve the name dispute. This is a historic moment and achievement, and we all should be proud of it”.
The President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani described the Bulgarian Presidency as tremendously successful.
