Bulgarians give two times less money for household bills, such as electricity, water, gas and heating. The European neighbours of Bulgaria spend their most money on household bills.
Bulgarians give 7% of their income for transport and social security. In comparison, people in most European countries give more money for transport than food.
The analysis of “Eurostat” shows that the Bulgarian is not among the vainest nations. Only 4% of the costs of Bulgarians are for clothing and shoes. They spend the same amount of money on cigarettes, alcohol and culture. 5% of their income goes to healthcare.
