A serious road accident on April 30 temporarily closed the Veliko Tarnovo–Ruse road between the villages of Samovodene and Polikraishte (Northern Bulgaria).
According to initial information, one person has died. A car and a passenger minibus with Romanian registration were involved in the collision. There are no reports of other fatalities or injuries.
The accident occurred at around 16:00 local time. Traffic is being diverted via an alternative route through the village of Resen.
