The 66-year-old woman who was hospitalized yesterday in Pirogov emergency hospital in extremely serious condition, with a positive result for COVID-19, died today at 15.42, the health ministry said on March 11.
The woman had chronic heart problems and previous cardiac surgery.
Ahe was admitted to Pirogov with severe bilateral pneumonia. Despite intensive resuscitation, the doctors were unable to save her life.
The Ministry of Health extends condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased woman.
