Exit polls by "Gallup International" and "Alpha Research" as at 20:00 on October 29 show that Vassil Terziev of "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" - "Save Sofia" (WCC – DB – Save Sofia) and Vanya Grigorova of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will go to second round of voting in the municipal and mayoral elections in Sofia.
Election process proceeds to a second round if in the first round no candidate received 50%+1 of the votes cast. A second round of voting will be held on November 5 between the two candidates with the largest shares of the votes from the first one.
