Four people in Bulgaria have been confirmed positive for Covid-19 coronavirus, the national corronavirus task force said on March 8.
Two man – a 27 and 61 year old from Pleven and two women – a 75 year old and a woman from the medical staff of the hospital in Gabrovo were diagnosed with the disease.
The first two cases in the country, the 27 year old from Pleven and the 75 year old woman were announced shortly after midnight on March 8 at an emergency news briefing, but were not 100% confirmed until this morning.
The representatives of the national task force for combating the coronavirus spread attended a meeting in the council of ministers, which was convened by the Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borrisov to coordinate the measures of the relevant authorities.
