The government will table a proposal to the National Tripartite Cooperation Council for an increase in the payment of night shifts work to 0.15% per hour of the minimum wage. This makes it 0.91 BGN per hour compared to the current 0.25 BGN per hour.
According to the minister of labour and social policy, Denitsa Sacheva, the proposal corresponds to the demands of the protesting nurses for higher pay of night shifts work.
The government and the trade unions agreed to provide BGN 9 million to index nurses' salaries in kindergartens and schools.
