Hot water and heating steam is possible to rise by 7% from July 1. Higher electricity prices are also expected. The exact percentage of the increase will become clear on July 1, when the new gas prices for the third quarter of the year come into effect.
This was announced by Bulgaria’s Energy and Water Regulatory Commission on 25th of June following an open sitting, which discussed gas prices for July, August and September.
EWRC’s chairman, Ivan Ivanov, assured that the current lesser increase in gas prices will not lead to a shock increase in 3 months.
