The landslide on the road between Smolyan and Madan in South Bulgaria is very dangerous and active. On 13th of March, the road remains closed for cars and pedestrians. It has been closed to traffic for 6 days.
Another landslide is activated in the region of the village of Pirgovo near Rousse (North Bulgaria).
The slide of earth mass caused a burst in water supply network. Curently, 23 houses are without water. Emergency teams are working to clear the road. Traffic restrictions are in place for lorries in the areas of Lucky-Rozhen and Momchiltsi - Momina Voda, where they are required to weigh less than 12 tonnes and be without trailers and semi-trailers.
