The top five tobacco companies in Bulgaria will report cigarette smuggling data in the first half of the year. The last survey of the companies at the end of March showed that cigarette smuggling in Bulgaria is 6.6%. Highest were the values in Haskovo - 17%, and in Pazardzhik - 14%. Meanwhile, Customs Agency reported that for the first half of the year they have raised more revenues from the sale of legal cigarettes. For the first time, excise revenues on tobacco products outpaced those on fuel.
