The 58th edition of the International Festival "March Music Days" started with a spectacular premiere on 16th of March in Rousse. For the first time, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the Ninth Symphony of Maestro Emil Tabakov.
The programme this year includes 40 events and more than 650 participants from 16 countries. The director of the festival, Ms. Iva Chavdarova, assures there will be a lot of contemporary music and over 10 Bulgarian and world premieres. The Rousse audience will have the pleasure to enjoy famous and beloved performers: Svetlin Rusev, Evgeni Bozhanov, Tatyana Koleva, Frosh String Quartet, Sofia Soloists Ensemble, as well as the foreign quartets Michelangelo and Schuman, the brilliant pianist Casparas Winccas and the premiere of "Macbeth" by Giuseppe Verdi, which will be performed at the opera house in Rousse on Monday.
The festival runs until April 1.
