The decision to increase pensions in Bulgaria by 3.8% comes into force as of 1st of July, Social Minister Biser Petkov told journalists in Parliament on 23rd of May.
Thus, the average monthly pension in the country will increase by about BGN 15 (Euro 7.5). The minimum pension for people who fulfilled the requirements for old age and years of service will increase from BGN 200 to BGN 207.60.
