The size of the monthly state pension increases by 6.7% as of today, July 1.
Some 2 090 000 pensioners will receive the higher size of their pensions.
The state budget has allocated nearly half a billion BGN for the increase.
The monthly minimum pension for people who fulfilled the requirements for old age and years of service will increase from BGN 219.43 to BGN 250.
The old-age social pension will increase to BGN 141.63.
The maximum size of disability pension becomes BGN 287,50 and survivors’ pension will be BGN 187.50
The size of the maximum pension will remain unchanged, at BGN 1,200.
