European Parliament President, Antonio Tajani, and Lilyana Pavlova, the Minister in charge of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, on 28th of June in Brussels signed the Posting of Workers Directive into law and two more legislative acts in the social affairs area.
The ceremony was attended by Marianne Thyssen, Commisioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility and Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Zornitsa Rusinova.
The Directive comes into force immediately, but the Member States have two years to prepare for its implementation.
