Municipal election commission announces Vassil Terziev as the new mayor of Sofia

Sofia Municipal Election Commission on November 6 declared Vassil Terziev elected mayor of Sofia after the second round of the local elections. Terziev was nominated by "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (Save Sofia).

The mayors of the districts in which there was a run-off are now also clear. We publish them in the order in which the decisions for them are published on the Municipal Election Commission’s website:

In the capital's "Sredets" and "Triaditsa" districts, mayors were elected in the first round of the local elections. These are Traycho Traykov ("Sredets") and Dimitar Bozhilov ("Triaditsa"). Both were nominated by the "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (Save Sofia).

Dolni Bogrov borough - Blagoy Asenov, "Vazrazhdane"

After the first round of local elections seven formations entered the new Sofia Municipal Council.
