The new prices of tickets for the public transport in Sofia will come into force from 1st of June. A ticket for a single ride on buses, trams, trolley buses and underground will rise to 1.60 BGN from the current 1.00 BGN, i.e. the price will go up by 60%.
The price of a voucher for 10 rides will increase by 4 BGN, from the current 8BGN to 12 BGN.
The old tickets will no longer be valid after 1st of June.
