A hundred and thirty two (132) new cases coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours from 2100 PCR tests, the national information system said on June 19.
The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad - 4; Bourgas – 1; Veliko Turnovo – 1; Vidin – 7; Dobrich – 1; Kardzhali – 2; Kyustendil - 11; Pazardzhik – 17; Pleven - 5; Plovdiv - 8; Razgrad - 1; Sliven - 9; Smolyan - 5; Sofia district - 26; Sofia city - 30; Stara Zagora - 1; Shoumen - 1; Yambol - 1.
The total cases in the country to date have risen to 3674.
Of the total, 289 are in hospitals, 13 in intensive care.
The recoveries are 1941, including 61 over the past 24 hours.
The death toll also increased to 190 people. Six died over the past 24 hours.
There are several outbreaks in Bulgari. Since yesterday, Iztok neighbourhood in Perushtitsa is locked down because 5 new cases were registered in the town. 20 people were quarantined. All entry and exit routes of the area have been temporarily closed. The spread of the contagion is linked to a meeting of the evangelical church pastors. The local pastor has been admitted to hospital. Another pastor who attended the meeting is hospitalised in Varna.
A neighbourhood in Samokov is also under quarantine. For the time being, no checkpoints at the entry and exit routes were established.
Three checkpoints are in place in Iztok neighbourhood in the city of Kyustendil, where 18 people tested positive for the virus. Six were hospitalised, one in serious condition.
