Security at Bulgaria’s border with Turkey has been strengthened, which will include the army, Prime Minister Borissov said on February 28. He said he held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
They discussed the situation in Syria and the situation with the migrants. During the conversation it was clarified that there is currently no direct threat to Bulgaria. Borissov and Erdogan have agreed to hold a meeting on Monday.
