The number of coronavirus cases in Bulgaria continues to rise with 40 new cases reported in a day thus bringing the total to 735, the national task force said at a daily briefing on April 15.
The South Bulgarian district of Yambol reported the first case of the virus.
The increase is by 5,8% compared to yesterday. The active cases are 585. Sofia reported 29 new cases today. The capital city has the largest number of cases with a total of 444.
Three of the most recent cases are in Kyustendil. Smolyan and Sliven reported two new cases each, Plovdiv one and Stara Zagora also one.
The new cases also include 3 children, at the age of 6, 9 and 15 from Sofia city and Sofia district. They are not hospitalised.
Two new cases of medical specialists were registered in Sofia: one working in the Military Medical Academy and one in Aleksandrovska hospital.
105 Covid-19 patients have recovered, with 24 being the most recent ones, who recovered in the past 24 hours.
210 patients are in hospitals, 29 of them are in intensive care.
A 59 year old woman died today. The total deaths are 36.
