The left-wing opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) submitted a vote of no confidence against the government on 20th of June. The motive for the vote is the government’s failure in security policy.
The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) said they would support the vote.
The motives of the no confidence motion include failure in the management of prisons, undetected murders, increasing crime against households.
MRF said that in the first no confidence motion they insisted to include the issue of security. The vote was submitted on 17th of January and was based on the issue of failure to deal with corruption.
