Partial state of emergency was declared on 27th of June in three villages in the South Bulgarian region of Ivaylovgrad - Lensko, Sokolentsi and Meden Buk, because of the torrential rains last night. No one has been injured.
Firefighters saved stranded people from the village of Lensko during the night. Infrastructure was seriously damaged, as the downpours carried away parts of the road, forming huge holes. Because of the accumulated deposits and mud, the road to the village of Sokolentsi is impassable. The rain caused power cuts in the villages of Sokolhenci and Rozino.
