PM Denkov announced the governance programme of the cabinet, criticized some of the decisions of the budget committee

The most important thing at today's meeting of the Council of Ministers is the adoption of the government's governance programme, Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov said at the beginning of the regular weekly meeting of the cabinet on July 26.

"We expect this support to continue in the coming months and, in coordination with the National Assembly, to be able to implement both the legislative and the governance programme, as this is related to improving the standard of living of the people and the conditions for business in Bulgaria," Denkov said.

As regards the activities of the budget committee, Denkov criticised the decisions taken.

"Some wrong decisions were taken by the Budget and Finance Committee, which did not secure the financial framework that was previously prepared by the Council of Ministers," Denkov said.

He added that he had spoken with the leaders of the parties and that the mistakes would be corrected.
