A group of 37 illegal migrants were detained on the second class road II-63 in the section between the towns of Breznik and Pernik. This is the second group of migrants detained on the territory of the Pernik region, the regional spokesperson of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior said.
The migrants are of Afghan origin and were being transported in a van. The vehicle was stopped for inspection by the police near the village of Meshchitsa, in the direction of Pernik.
At the moment, the identity of the persons is being established and procedural-investigative actions are being conducted, the press centre of the Pernik Police Department said.

Earlier today, a group of 20 migrants were detained in Pernik. The foreigners, who came from Afghanistan, were found in a van on the territory of the “Iztok” district near “Daskalovo” road junction.
