The public service broadcasters, Bulgarian National Television and Bulgarian National Radio, are once again the most trusted media brands in Bulgaria, according to the Reuters media digital news report for 2021.
Some 72% of the Bulgarians trust the news on BNR, 70% trust BNT.
Print newspapers and TV channels as main source of news have seen a decline, while reliance on online content has increased.
TV stations and newspapers are offering more content online, where they face competition from multiple websites, bloggers, and politicians all trying to win loyal audiences.
