Cor Caroli Regatta ended in Bulgaria’s Black Sea coastal city of Varna on 15th of August.
The yacht or "Windwalker" won first prize and the "Blue Tape" award from the sailing regatta "Cor Caroli". 35 yachts took part in the competition, including sailors from Ukraine. There were disputed races in the four racing days and until last "Evil Woman" and "Windwalker" fought for the first place.
The sailing day for sailors started at weak wind and an unfavourable direction of the waves. After leaving the gulf of Varna however and returning from Aladzha Bank, the wind increased and the yachts headed back to the port of Varna under spinnakers. This turned the sea into a spectacle of colours - an attractive sight for the residents and guests of Varna.
The first race from Bourgas to Sveti Ivan island started on 14th of August. The next two stages were from Bourgas to Sveti Vlas and from Sveti Vlas to Varna.
