The summer holiday season in Bulgaria’s Black Sea coastal city of Varna was officially opened on 15th of May. The main purpose of the business and Bulgaria’s Ministry of Tourism for 2016 will be to attract more guests with additional places of interest. One of them, the Roman Thermal Baths in Varna, was presented on 15th of May. They are the largest thermae on the Balkans and are part of the new project of the Ministry of Tourism “Legends about Bulgaria”, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova said.
In the new tourist season, the city of Varna will be promoted as a key city in two cultural-historic routes – “Bulgaria’s Maritime Fortresses" and “Capitals and Cities of Bulgarian Tsars and Patriarchs”. Varna will have its place in the large interactive project which will present the legends about 52 cities.
The Roman Thermal Complex will also include a summer stage and a cultural programme.
