A fire engine, responding to a fire alert, plunged into a ravine near the bridge at the entrance of Kuklen, South Bulgaria. One firefighter died in the incident and two of his colleagues were injured. The firefighters were given first aid and were transported to a hospital in Sofia, the press office of the Ministry of Interior announced on 17th of August.
Several firefighter teams immediately arrived at the scene. The fire engine was going to a place with burning dry grass. For the time being, the cause of the serious incident, which occured at about 4 pm, is unclear.
