Social inclusion and tackling poverty were key issues at the high-level conference on the future of the European Social Fund.
The conference “Investing in people – the way forward” took place in Sofia on 15th and 16th of February and is part of the Bulgarian Presidency’s events programme. It concluded the celebrations of the 60-year anniversary of the European Social Fund.
The confrence was organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
What prevents people from escaping stereotypes and accepting the different and how the situation improves with the help of the EU funds were among the topics of the discussion.
