Sofia Airport includes new destinations such as Riga, Helsinki, Skiathos and Bristol in its summer schedule this year, the airport operator said on March 21. The airport's new summer timetable comes into force on 31 March.
For the first time, Sofia Airport will have direct flights to Riga. Flights to the Latvian capital will start on May 2 and will be operated three times a week - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Flights to Finland's capital Helsinki will start from 3 June and will be twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays.
From 1 June until 28 September, regular flights will also be operated to the Greek island of Skiathos, every Sunday. The carrier will also operate scheduled flights to Bristol every Wednesday and Sunday.
A large number of charter flights to popular destinations such as Antalya, Bodrum, Nevşehir, Cairo, Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh , Catania, Olbia, Djerba, Santorini, Enfida, etc. will operate from Sofia Airport this summer as well, SOF Connect, the operator of Sofia Airport in Bulgaria’s capital city said.
