Sofia Film Fest opened this evening (March 16).
With its rich programme and the big stars who will arrive in Bulgaria, the festival returns to its pre-pandemic scale.
"I am, perhaps, the little tree of film that wants to grow up. I am the tree that reappears, again and again. I'm extremely excited to plant a tree. It's the eternal question "When is the right time to plant a tree?" and the answer is "25 years ago, today or next year." So we're going to do it today," said director Volker Schlöndorff.
